Hey! @philthymag did this awesome piece about QUIET TIME, I.e. your favorite bubble grunge dad band. Check out our origin story: https://t.co/NtAikMP24Q
My band, QUIET TIME, just released our second single, “Scheherazade”! Listen to it wherever you stream music, or just listen to it here: https://t.co/jVnWwivnqD
@UsernameDelete8 You’re right. The PPA has a huge opportunity to be an organization that’s primarily focused on, and known for, pedestrian safety. But they’re hyper-focused on the expired meters of suburban shoppers.
@DPearsonPHL @UsernameDelete8 Yeah I feel like I’ve read these sorts of statements before. It’s always interesting to see when pols tell you they don’t have the power to do something vs. when they come out swinging against something else that’s totally out of their orbit.
@Alain_Mower Haven’t been to a gym since before COVID, but I’ve seen a lot of stories recently about fitness influencers taking over their own space plus like 5 feet in front of them to film themselves.
@SpiritOfEnterpr@PhillyInquirer And they keep doing it because consequences are rare, even when exposed like this. As long as you can stomach the whole city knowing your corruption, you keep doing what you’re doing.
@jongeeting Any time NMA gets quoted as being against something, it means no one is actually against it. Just this one guy who calls himself an “association.”
@dmtrubman@DPearsonPHL I also assume certain lines’ ridership and decisions are bringing down the whole system’s numbers. I tried to take a RR train to Mt. Airy late last year and the train ended at North Philly where we had to switch to what became a very crowded bus. I won’t be taking that line again
