@heymikey80 @LarryOConnor Nixon wasn’t President during the evacuation of Saigon; Gerald Ford was (April 1975). Furthermore, a decade-long war with 58k American casualties wasn't a "temporary problem." Nixon got our troops out in '73; Congress cut the funding after that.

SCOTUS ruled the 1970 VRA only applied to federal elections, so Nixon championed the 26th Amendment—literally following the Constitution.
Signing Title IX had political risks so no...not anyone would have signed.
