Christmas as a disabled person can be a really lonely and tough time. It’s often the case that we don’t just get ableism from the outside world but also from our families. Sending love to anyone struggling with needing to explain ableism in their families.

No. You've survived. Poor people haven't. People with disabilities haven't. Trans people haven't. 130,000 people haven't because of austerity. Just because you'll be fine bc you're privileged, doesn't mean everyone else will be.
