@CarterRubin I think you've mentioned this before and I recently repeated the sentiment to a developer and they seemed shocked.

@CarterRubin Why would it need to be cameras? You can do this with old fashioned tube counts. The technology isn't the hurdle (I'd say it's better not to use cameras if you're just trying to evaluate speeds rather than identify offenders). The issue is lack of priority for electeds.

@CarterRubin Yes and not just an international one; there are definitely examples of this in the US. Boston is the one I'm most personally familiar with but there are other locations. I've thought since my first day here that Metro really needs retail and services in stations
