PART 2 of Setting the Record Straight on @KenPaxtonTX
Now, for those of you who keep screaming...
"But, but, but... Ken Paxton was impeached!"...
No shit.
But apparently, some of you have no idea what that means or what happened AFTER that.
So let's talk about it...
On May 27, 2023, the Texas House voted 121-23 to impeach Ken Paxton on 20 articles involving allegations of bribery, abuse of office, misconduct involving political donor Nate Paul, and retaliation against whistleblowers.
Serious accusations indeed.
But here's what some of you apparently don't understand...
Impeachment IS NOT a conviction nor does it prove he committed a damn thing.
The House brings the charges... but the Senate conducts the trial and determines whether the evidence warrants conviction and removal from office.
And guess what?
That's EXACTLY what happened.
Of the 20 articles, 16 proceeded to trial.
Witnesses testified...
Evidence was presented...
And both sides made their arguments.
I watched the trial and I thought the evidence was weak.
Apparently, I wasn't alone.
The Senate required proof beyond a reasonable doubt and to convict Paxton on any article, 21 senators had to vote in favor.
Not a SINGLE article received more than 14 votes.
Not ONE.
As a matter of fact, not a single article received enough votes for a simple majority.
On September 16, 2023, the Texas Senate ACQUITTED Ken Paxton on all 16 articles.
Now think about that for a second...
Someone gets accused of wrongdoing, stands trial, evidence is presented, and they're acquitted.
Yet people continue running around screaming about the accusation while conveniently leaving out the outcome.
The Senate heard the case and did not convict him.
You can believe the senators got it wrong.
You can criticize the evidence, the witnesses, the attorneys, or the process itself.
Hell, you can argue that politics influenced the outcome.
But don't pretend the trial never happened.
And don't confuse an accusation with a finding of guilt.
We have constitutional procedures, evidentiary standards, and due process for a reason...
And those protections don't suddenly become optional because you dislike the person receiving them.
Paxton was impeached.
He stood trial.
He was acquitted.
So again... if you're going to insist on judging someone by their record, then at least have the intellectual honesty to acknowledge the entire record.
Not just the part that supports your bias and your argument.
PART 1 of Setting the Record Straight on @KenPaxtonTX
If you believe the spin about Ken Paxton protecting pedophiles and sexual predators, here is Paxton’s actual record.
126 human trafficking convictions.
373 human trafficking arrests.
214 online solicitation of a minor convictions.
186 missing and endangered children recovered.
Yeah... that really sounds like a guy who loves pedophiles and sexual predators, doesn’t it?
Now let's talk about Adam Hoffman...
Hoffman was charged with sexually abusing a child.
His case went to trial, and the jury DEADLOCKED.
It appears not everyone understands what that means, so I'll try and explain it in a way most can understand...
Seven jurors favored conviction... five did not.
Without a unanimous verdict, the jury couldn't convict him.
Reports say the victim did not want to go through another trial and relive that trauma.
So Paxton's prosecutors had three options...
Retry the case and potentially force a traumatized child to testify again, dismiss the prosecution without securing a conviction, or negotiate a plea agreement that would secure admission of guilt.
If they had chose the first option, it could've forced the victim to relive the trauma.
If they had chose second option... well, it would've given people a leg to stand on that maybe Paxton does in fact enable pedophiles and child abuse.
But they chose the third option.
And I get it...
The original proposal was one day of credited jail time for two misdemeanors. Thankfully, the judge rejected it, and Hoffman was ultimately sentenced to 60 days, serving 29.
Was the punishment ridiculously light?
Uh... yes!
But here's what some apparently don't understand...
Our justice system operates within a framework of constitutional safeguards, rules of evidence, procedures, and limitations on prosecutorial authority.
Prosecutors don't get to ignore those safeguards just because the allegations are horrific.
They have to prove their case, obtain a unanimous verdict, or negotiate an outcome the court will accept.
Those safeguards exist for a REASON. They protect ALL OF US from an unchecked government.
And here's an analogy even the most intellectually challenged should understand...
Accusing Paxton of SUPPORTING child predators because his prosecutors negotiated a lenient plea deal is like accusing a district attorney of SUPPORTING murder because he negotiated a manslaughter plea after a jury couldn't agree on a murder conviction.
Think about how absurd that is.
Could prosecutors have negotiated a tougher agreement?
Maybe.
That's a perfectly legitimate question.
But a disagreement over prosecutorial judgment is NOT evidence that someone endorses the very crime being prosecuted.
And if you believe the system needs reform, then advocate for better investigations, stronger protections for child victims, and greater accountability in plea negotiations.
DO SOMETHING about it.
But understand that constitutional safeguards aren't optional simply because you don't like the outcome.
You can question the deal...
You can demand answers...
You can even argue the prosecutors got it wrong.
What you can't do is pretend that automatically proves Ken Paxton supports child predators.
That's not logic...
That's a conclusion looking for evidence.
Henry Kissinger on Trump:
“Donald Trump is a phenomenon foreign countries have not seen before… the only true leader. The man is making changes like never before and he does everything for the good of the people of this nation. After eight years of tyranny, we finally see a difference.”
“Trump puts America and its people first. There’s nothing wrong with him and people need to open their eyes.”
He forces allies and enemies to recalculate after Obama’s withdrawal. The weak grow strong at the frontier; the strong grow weak by inhibition.
Trump is dismissing inhibitions and putting America first.
What Americans actually want:
1. Hillary held accountable
2. Put God back in America
3. Borders closed or protected
4. Congress on the same retirement & health plans as everyone else
5. Congress obeys its own laws
6. English as the language
7. Constitution & Bill of Rights
8. Drug-free America
9. No giveaways for non-citizens
10. Balance the budget
11. Stop sending money to foreign countries
12. Term limits for Congress
13. Respect our military, flag, and law enforcement
Trump is the only one speaking to this. We the people are coming.
#AmericaFirst #Trump #Kissinger
How many Republicans are involved in the plan to separate from Trump & crush the people? This is what the President & the people are up against. Their own side working with their enemies because the people are such a threat to the establishment.
You know what's more expensive than $4 a gallon gas?
-Paying student loans I never took out
-Paying for free food for someone that shouldn't even be here
-Paying healthcare for people that jumped the border
-Paying for infrastructure in a country I've never been to
-Paying for military protection for people that hate us
THAT is costing me a Hell of a lot more than $4 gas!!!
I have followed Paxton for several years. All through his impeachment he stood strong and up against the rinos trying to destroy him. They hate Paxton because he knows about all their crimes. We need him in the Senate to expose more rinos. Vote Paxton!
In my opinion, she is a terrorist unfit to hold political office. She is advocating for a gross abuse of power and obstruction of justice. @mrddmia@SenMikeLee
A warning to the U.S.:
My dear American friends,
I say this with love, as someone who has lived among you and owes you a great deal: your midterms are on November 3rd. And the same alliance is growing inside your Democratic Party. The same far-left wing that treats disorder as protest and police as the enemy. The same activists who refuse to draw a line between legitimate dissent and those who openly despise the West. The same politicians who think tolerance means tolerating everything, including the people who want to burn it down.
It always starts with excuses. Then comes impunity. Then come the flames.
Same causes, same effects. If you create the conditions we created, you will get exactly what we got tonight.
France was the country of the Enlightenment, of cathedrals and town halls that stood for centuries. Tonight, one of them collapsed live on social media while the government called for calm.
My dear American friends, the only advantage you have over us is that you've been warned.
Vote like your city hall depends on it. Because one day, it will. “
Are you ready to go back to this: Sitting in an airport restaurant & couple next to us talking about the midterms. The woman works for a local county. The man tells her at work she should blame everything on Trump & says if anyone supports him/the Admin she should tell them “they will not get a work permit for three months”. She says she cannot do that & he responds: “if we get the right result on November 3rd we’ll be rid of all these people”. That is what you are voting against. If you don’t vote the way they want, they will punish you any way they can.
Between this and John Brennan supposedly going before a Grand Jury tomorrow, there is a lot going on that people are not paying a whole lot of attention to and maybe we should be…

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Rep. Brandon Gill just OBLITERATED birthright citizen Rep. Delia Ramirez (D) after she filed a bill to dismantle DHS and abolish ICE/CBP
"This is a piece of legislation that could have been written by AL QAEDA or by Osama bin Laden! [...] We live in a very dangerous world. ASK yourself if it makes you or in your family more SAFE to ABOLISH the Department of Homeland Security, to get rid of ICE!?"
"To basically get rid of all of the major governmental agencies that protect the homeland. Does that make you more or less safe?!"
"And I think most sane people look at the world right now and they say — THIS IS INSANE!" 🔥
This bill is pure madness and is DEAD ON ARRIVAL.
Keep in mind that this woman is only a citizen because her parents came here illegally and birthed her here...she should NOT be a citizen, in my opinion!
Democrats aren't hiding it anymore. They want NO enforcement at all.
Every Democrat should have to say on the record whether they support this.
Brandon Gill is saying what most Americans know! 🇺🇸
This is not even real… Jack Smith's team and the Biden Justice Department sat on spreadsheets covering more than 639,000 Republican donors, supporters and voters, and buried in there were the people who bought red MAGA hats, what they bought, and the shipping address where that hat got delivered to their front door. Somebody please explain to me how a hat order has anything to do with a criminal case against a president.
Names, dates of birth, home addresses, emails, whether you are a registered Republican, your congressional district, your job and where you work… the sample occupations in Senator Grassley's memo are retired, pool tech, driver, logger, janitor, doorman. Credit card information down to the last four digits, donations as low as one dollar, over 148,000 rows of mostly small dollar donors, data going all the way back to 2005, and according to Grassley it was shared with FBI agents. These are not cartel bosses or foreign spies, these are your neighbors who sent twenty bucks and bought a coffee mug and a door mat because they love their country.
Let me put it to you like this. If a Republican administration built a spreadsheet of everyone who bought a Kamala hoodie, with their birth date and home address, and handed it to federal agents, the media would run it wall to wall for six months and call it the end of democracy. When team evil does it, it gets called an investigation and you are supposed to say thank you. How is this even a thing in America? Who approved it, who signed off on it, and which agents had their hands on your home address?
Grassley called it incredibly invasive and said it shows Smith and his partisan team aimed to map out the entire Republican Party apparatus. He is being polite. Make no mistake, you do not pull the shipping address of somebody who ordered a hat on November 16, 2020 because you are worried about one man, you pull it because you want to know where all of you live, who you give to, and who signs your paycheck. It is a target list with a government letterhead on top.
I know what it feels like when this system decides you are the enemy because you spoke up, and most of the people on that list have no idea their name is sitting in a federal file right now. And yet Jack Smith still walks around like he is the injured party.
@realDonaldTrump@ChuckGrassley… release every page, notify every American whose name is on that list, and put Jack Smith under oath. But God.
