What is rape rodent? Well, this is the ORIGIN of troll face.

So the author from $troll face, Carlos Ramirez, (Whynne) first attempted to draw a mighty mouse that then resulted into a creepy expression mouse that he posted on devianart.

Rape Rodent never gained significant popularity because of looking as a rodent with a disturbing, smirking face, resembling Mighty Mouse but with a sinister expression.

So, whats the correlation between rape rodent and troll face?

Shared Creator: Both memes were created by Carlos Ramirez (Whynne). Rape Rodent was an earlier sketch, and Trollface was a later creation inspired by it.

Inspiration: Whynne attempted to replicate Rape Rodent’s creepy facial expression in his MS Paint webcomic about trolling, uploaded to DeviantArt on September 19, 2008. This comic birthed the Trollface, which became a widely recognized symbol of internet trolling and rage comics.

It is so sad to see this, While Rape Rodent failed to gain popularity, Trollface became one of the most iconic memes, appearing in rage comics, YouTube videos, and games like Trollface Quest.
