@levelsio IMHO you don't really need tailscale.
I use SSH keys with a hardware key like Yubikey or Nitrokey. So then even is someone has access to your machine they can not just steal the SSH keys.
But yeah the rest with the firewall setup is pretty important.
@marclou Thats a great idea.
I had a similar idea the other day. Instead of stripe I would use Github. So people can watch a city being built by commiting code.
Might build it if I have enough time.
@Innerdevcrypto I think this is just a first step away from fiat. In Switzerland we have now the first truly decentralized stablecoin ZCHF. Its kind of like DAI and it is already accepted in some shops.
It's still pegged to fiat but at least not controlled by a central bank.
@ThePrimeagen I think you use it entirely wrong that's why you have such bad results.
You really need to be specific about what you want.
For example if you have a frontend bug you can just paste an image and tell it what is wrong. It will then go on and figure out why.
Two of the main use cases of stablecoins are transactions, and store of value.
When people are using money as a medium of exchange, they are looking for a proper and agreed upon unit of account.
The Dollar is the undisputed king of this use case, worldwide. Most of the world's trade is done in Dollars. The world in our era, transacts, and often thinks, in US Dollars.
On the store of value angle though, it's a different story. In the past few months especially, it's very clear - the Dollar keeps losing relative value, for various reasons. People often look for alternative assets to store their funds and maintain their purchasing power, such as gold, the stock market, Bitcoin and other crypto assets, real estate, or other types of assets.
When we look at national currencies from a store of value point of view - one stands tall above all.
The Swiss Franc has surpassed every other national currency on the store of value front.
Frankencoin brings this strength onchain with ZCHF.
@vaxryy Sorry for late response I was off for a while.
I don't think you can do it with polar alone but if you integrate another payment provider it should be possible. But I doubt that it's worth the hassle of maintainig another service.
