@galkhattab I feel you Ghina, we have the same feeling at home. Little ones need to connect with people, even if it´s in the form of a video clip by the teacher, they really enjoy that. Hopefully this situation will end up soon and they´re able to return to school
Do you think that technology has saved children from Coronavirus? Do you think education at home would be easier without technology nowadays? what happens when a child doesn´t have access to technology? #qfschools

This is exactly what I found out in my Action Research: Peer Feedback works by encouraging collaboration and social skills in students who teach other peers. More effort is put into mastery and learning from mistakes. Teacher workload can be reduced #qfschools
Maybe group students online, or have them write letters explaining concepts to peers? Students who teach peers put more effort into mastery, organize information better, and are more likely to learn from mistakes. A video I edited for @edutopia.
@BushraKhajil That's true, I wish my school was using Google instead of Microsoft. However, I use google a lot for my personal business, so I love that I can use everything I've learned
My gaining skills in this masters course during this online learning transition have been remarkable. I am learning not to freeze so much in front of a camera as well as becoming more and more curious about what technology offers to our students today and in the future #qfschools
@GuynnSheryl I feel the same way, before we started our masters, I had never realized how many technology choices in products and apps there are out there!
Looking at the well organized and highly effective proposals from my colleagues today I realized the importance of having goals or headlines that summarize what your plan is. This is a useful checklist you could use #qfschools
@galkhattab@DanPardy@HeidiBeeman@kennedyleading Thank you for sharing this, I really love this video, it is very inspiring! I totally agree that as teachers we need to teach our children to be change makers, to solve their own problems by going out there and finding what they need, to be critical thinkers!
@galkhattab@DanPardy@HeidiBeeman@kennedyleading I second that Ghina. I am currently using Microsoft teams and find it quite easy to use as well. Kids love it and are real experts at communicating with it.
@RAlmallahy @zoom_us I have heard really good things about how easy it is to use Zoom but I have never used it. Microsoft teams is also a great way to connect with your colleagues and students, I guess a very similar solution.
