Democracy should not require suspending normal life to function.
Security is necessary. Paralysis is not.

@Lukmanayubi Nigeria is a secular state, and election dates cannot realistically be adjusted around every major religious observance. The more important issue is logistics. If INEC ensures efficient accreditation, short queues, and proper planning, fasting should not materially affect voting.
