@himantabiswa We strongly oppose the New Guidelines for appointing teachers at Newly Established Colleges in Assam. It is sheer violation of Equal Pay for Equal work. @himantabiswa

Despite a claimed 50:50 recruitment split, the policy enforces a 2:1 ratio favoring retired professors. In a 3-member department, 2 seats go to retirees — leaving just 1 for emerging scholars. This isn’t fair.
