for everyone who's not following the case, please understand that they do NOT have enough evidence against him, the prosecution still hasn't given the full discovery to the defense and this is just a politically motivated circus. DON'T STOP TALKING ABOUT LUIGI MANGIONE
@TechTaigaa @brattybattv The reasoning for keeping it in English is that a lot of English slang doesn't have a direct translation to Japanese, so Japanese people will often just stick the English in directly. This is a better cultural fit than a literal translation and adds a bit of "alternative" flair.
@TechTaigaa @brattybattv Tbh the culture in Japanese doesn't really lend itself to calling yourself "brat" in the same way it does in English. 餓鬼 is typically reserved for youths / children and is not reclaimed in the same way it is in English. I'd suggest just having it be "Brat" in English.

@xofolded There's other methods but they all go from a "pick a thread and pull the others around it together" kind of mentality. The method matters less than writing. A first draft is (almost) never a final draft, and we often figure out a lot while writing anyway. You've got this. :)
@xofolded Since you have the characters, etc, you can go: which character's (or characters') story arc(s) seems the most compelling to you to write for someone to experience? No matter what, we're going to follow at least one. How does the world move around them? What influences them?
