A manager said they'd taken ownership of it.

Stopped our complaint being answered.

Asked us for dates to inspect it.

We gave dates and he didn't bother to reply to us.

It leaked again yesterday and is leaking again today.

In a few days' time it is scheduled to be mown flat 😢
If it is it will literally harm the lives of residents & destroy a thriving eco system

Please just leave the area alone with minimal intervention and management.

This approach would be so much better for the environment, for wildlife, for pollinators, for your costs, and for me.

This is a formal complaint to you @rbhousing.

You know how distressing it is to me when you mow Falinge Common outside my home.

I'm autistic and the mowing noise is physically painful to me. The smell of the mowers also makes me feel sick.

You are, in fact, making my home less suitable for me every time you mow the Common area.

There's no reason why this area cannot be left in a rewilded state, and your refusal to do this makes it appear that you are doing it deliberately to cause me disadvantage.

@save7sis @rbhousing People are forging in there too. I've seen people picking wild salad plants to eat and taking cuttings for crafts.

RBH clearly don't want the tenants on Lower Falinge to have any access to nature or available mental health aids.

And it's not like RBH is using it for anything!

They plan to mow Falinge Common on 15th Aug after promising they would leave it for the pollinators.

Lots of wildlife uses it when it's in full bloom, and I use it too, to help regulate and manage sensory input levels.

Last year I saw 6 different bee species using the flowers on Falinge Common.

I put out a water station to help them - Bees need water too!

This year @rbhousing killed most of those flowers by mowing the Common in May.

This year I've only seen 2 bee species.
