But, our community is being broken up, displaced, and our homes demolished, by the Charitable Mutual Housing Association @rbhousing.

Despite previous promises to rewild Falinge Common,
@rbhhomes are planning to mow it this week.

This will destroy habitats, and kill essential pollinators.

It will also remove much needed protection from noise and pollution coming from the busy road.

Last year I saw 6 different bee species using the flowers on Falinge Common.

I put out a water station to help them - Bees need water too!

This year @rbhousing killed most of those flowers by mowing the Common in May.

This year I've only seen 2 bee species.

This grassland on Lower Falinge is trying its hardest to be a wildflower meadow to attract the 🦋🐞🐝
But it keeps getting fully mowed so it's struggling

Very upset with @rbhousing and their plans to mow Falinge Common again after promising they would leave it or re-wild it for the pollinators.

Lots of wildlife uses it when it's in full bloom, and I use it too, to help regulate and manage sensory input levels.

From talking to people over the last few days and gathering signatures for our petition it's clear the community don't trust our landlord, and that there is no support for their extreme regeneration plans.
