The thing AIPAC doesn’t realize is if Thomas Massie loses, he will gain momentum for his presidential run with a perfect thing to build his platform around. They have painted themselves into a corner and I’m absolutely here for it. Massie 2028
Fraud, corruption, corperate greed, ruling elite, uniparty, coverup. We live in an Captured Opaque Oligarchy. We need a Jeffersonian Democracy, but to get there the elites will make it very unpleasant for us all while blaming us.
@BrooksAustinBA@2PeatAx His comments about Gunner are what stood out to me. I disagree with them, but I think the branch comments had more to do with how he feels about Gunner than anything else.
Executive order #1 for next president:
Single issue bills that includes concise terms and intent. Also must clearly identify who the bill benefits. If rep misses a vote they forfeit voting rights for the whole session. No more lies and hiding behind overly complicated policy.
@RustyMansell_ Off field rule. Make it so player is only allowed to sign one NIL agreement. So if a player is 4-5* out of HS and get a deal as an incoming fresh than he can’t then get money from another school a year later. He’s free to transfer though. Cut down on cash transfers
I’m no expert, but if a team is getting every point in the paint off tons of movement and dump offs, would it not make sense to play zone and just close down the paint. Make them actually shoot a shot. I don’t know, I’m going to bed
“…government of the people, for the people, and by the people shall not perish from the Earth.”
I am not sure we hit even one of these qualifiers at the moment.
Corporate profit margins are the reason things are expensive. I’m a libertarian, but something needs to be done to curb corporate greed. Normalize 6% profit margins like we had up until the 1990s. We are touching 20% now. That’s the difference
Why it is legal to bribe politicians? That is what is happening. Make only individual donations legal and make those donations totally transparent through public site. No non citizen, corporate, or super PAC donations. Getting the dirty money out should be step one.
