Hi @metrolaalerts@metrolosangeles
If I don't use a bus and need to add stored value to my tap card for the train, how can I do that? Can I add it at the station machine? Can I use a bank card or only cash? Any update on when this will be fixed?
@metrolosangeles Are you aware of any problems with the Android TAP app? My app works fine on the A line and on @PasadenaTransit but the last few times I'm trying to use it on the 622 bus it's not working.
@DavidHorne things go wrong. Even if you don't know the details Just communicating makes a huge difference. Not forgetting the customer focused crews. 2/2
I've spent the last 3 days traveling up and down the country by train, except for a couple of trips it's been entirely on @LNER
The staff have been great, information in abundance, spotless trains every time and (mostly) punctual.
I wish other operators were as good.
@DavidHorne Sometimes it's the little things are important. Being able to book a seat easily and quickly when you (finally) know what train you'll catch. Walking through the train collecting rubbish during the journey rather than at the end. Letting people know what's happening when 1/2
@metrolosangeles Is the 662 operating to/from Lincoln/Montana stops in Pasadena/Altadena now?
I see them parked on Woodberry, but my apps says the end at Washington.
Thanks.
@transitapp Thanks. I'm sending one now, although previously it showed bike, rail, bus, now it shows no transit routes found. I'll try and Include as much detail as possible.
@transitapp I'm a little confused. I have my transit mode set as Metro Rail only and my other modes set as personal bike and walking. However, the app still shows the bus as the only option at the other end of my Metro journey.
@googlemaps Found this from 2019
"Transit directions paired with ride-sharing and biking will start rolling today out on iOS. Android users ... will have to wait a little longer for transit plus biking."
We're still waiting

@blogworld It's easy to post unverified information on social media but the main news media needs to be more careful and only publish/broadcast what it's verified. Then it needs to be written, or recorded before being sent to editors for review. That takes time, I guess. 2/2
@blogworld No problem. The news is there, you just gotta look for it.
I think I misunderstood your initial tweet as a slight against the MSM. Apologies. Like you I have a problem with a single source. It's why I asked if you had any other sources. 1/2
@blogworld Unfortunately it's competing with the Olympics and domestic news in the US, UK and EU all closer to home for most. Many media outlets just don't have the resources anymore to have correspondents on the ground. You mentioned the BBC, this is one of the few that still have them.
@blogworld Green screen or not, you asked where the western media was. I just wanted to point out that there was ongoing coverage in the western media since you seemed to be having trouble finding it.
