We can now confirm that the substance found in Lorenzo Salgado’s van was not a narcotic or any other illicit substance. As his family has said all along, this was an electrolyte powder to stay hydrated working outside in the hot Texas summer.
The attempt to cast a shadow over Lorenzo Salgado’s name has failed.
Stephen Miller went on Hannity last night and accused Democrats of wanting to seize private industry and hand it to the government. The Trump administration currently holds equity stakes or governance rights in at least ten companies, Intel, IBM, US Steel, MP Materials, and others, at a scale researchers at CSIS and the Cato Institute both describe as unprecedented outside of wartime or economic crisis. Not a hypothetical. Not a scary campaign ad. An actual, ongoing federal ownership stake in the chipmaker that makes your phone's processor.
He said Democrats want to abolish the Constitution. This is the same administration that tried to end birthright citizenship, a right written into the 14th Amendment, through executive order, and got struck down by the Supreme Court for it. The same administration whose Department of Homeland Security has instructed agents to enter homes without warrants, a direct Fourth Amendment violation. The same administration that has tried to suspend the constitutional right to habeas corpus for people it wants to deport without a hearing.
He said Democrats want to abolish the jury system. His own Justice Department just had criminal charges thrown out because of grand jury misconduct so severe a judge couldn't let it stand.
And he said all this after bypassing Congress two hundred seventy separate times through executive order since Trump took office, according to Ballotpedia's own count, while accusing the other party of wanting to abolish the Senate.
This is a man who has never held a job outside government payroll accusing the opposition of wanting to nationalize industry, days after his own boss nationalized part of Intel. Hannity laughed and called it priceless. That's the tell. Nobody on that set actually believed a word of it. They just liked how it sounded.
February: Trump buys $1–5 million in Dell stock.
May: “Go out and buy a Dell!”
Then: Pentagon signs a $9.7 BILLION deal with Dell.
July: “Go out and buy a Dell!” (again)
The President bought millions in Dell stock, then stood at a White House podium, twice, telling Americans to go buy Dell computers.
Dell stock is up 235% this year.
In a functioning democracy that’s called securities fraud. Here it’s called Monday.
Trump promised a manufacturing boom.
Instead, we've lost 75,000 jobs and $60 billion in annual factory construction since he took office.

It’s so weird all the MAGAs here keep whining about the SAVE Act, but have no issues with all the cuts to election security Trump has made.
CISA election security → reduced
EI-ISAC → ended
MS-ISAC support → reduced
FBI Foreign Influence Task Force → disbanded
ODNI Foreign Malign Influence Center → gutted/restructured
State Department counter-disinformation office → shut down
Election Assistance Commission → leadership removed
DOJ election enforcement units → reduced/reoriented
How about we fix that first MAGAts and then we can talk.
🚨BUSTED: Mike Johnson was just masterfully cornered when a reporter asked him to name just ONE example of fraud in a previous election that the SAVE America Act would stop.
HE COULDN’T ANSWER.
This illegal bill must be defeated.

@rmckernie I simply do not prioritize human life based on where someone was born.
I rather think our efforts would be better served by focusing on the leading causes of unnatural death wholistically, not just a very small subset of those offenders.
@rmckernie@JABarn76 Your list here covers more than a decade, not a single year.
Most of these are drunk driving accidents. Drunk driving kills 11,000-13,000 people every year.
Maybe we should get more strict on drunk driving if we want to actually prevent deaths

Trump is the most corrupt president in history.
Trump claimed his tariffs would bring about a golden age of American manufacturing.
Yet since his re-election, we've lost 75,000 manufacturing jobs. Over the same period, Biden had created 625,000.
to hear Trump tell it, American elections were completely corrupted while he was president and he was helpless to stop it, then they were cleaned up by Biden ahead of Trump's victory in 2024, and now that Trump is president again they are once again becoming third world-caliber

When Trump says he won the 2020 election in his address to the nation tomorrow night, remember Fox News had to pay $787.5 million for lying to viewers and spreading that same lie.
