There’s no just giving up or tuning out. Authoritarianism doesn’t just stop because you quit looking at it. And there are so many people who deserve your help and support and solidarity who don’t have the privilege to give up.
Put @ElieNYC and @DeeTwoCents on MSNBC and CNN tonight. No need to hear from all the Republicans and "centrists" who were wrong about everything. Talk to Black folks who were right about everything.
Whatever happens tonight, the targeting of polling places and election officials should serve as a massive red flag.
Democracy isn’t just in danger at the political level. There’s a concerted effort to interfere in the carrying out of free and fair elections.
People who say this election could be the "end of democracy" are so extra...
Or maybe they know the TRUE history of the election-denying white supremacist who led a violent insurrection, overturned a presidential election and ended democracy in America.
