My Key takeaways from Token 2049 Singapore 🚀 🚀 🚀

1. This is now the BIGGEST/BEST blockchain event in the world

2. More women in the space now especially in Asia, here it is much more merit based and almost zero wokeness, whoever is the best gets the job and credit, everyone is busy building working and getting on with life

3. VC model of pumping and dumping tokens on degens, is getting much harder to do and not working anymore, some now want to become operators and owners of businesses...

4. RWA being one of the top narratives this year (DePin, Bitcoin infra were others I liked). RWA tokens are being sold illegally on many platforms and crypto exchanges, I was shilled by 5 crypto exchanges boasting about how they are doing it (illegally), this space never ceases to amaze....

5. Metaverse is dead or on life support somewhere, am sure there are some great projects building but that narrative was cold as ice

6. The industry is getting exhausted of the empty promises and "useless" use cases, so RWA is really becoming a strong force for use case. That being said bull market will reignite $hitcoin casino and meme insanity.

7. You'll never hear so many (and volume) ridiculously bad deals than at a crypto conference

7a. Protocol keynote speakers are arguably the biggest BS artists in the space, congrats

8. New chains will keep launching for now, no shortage of new investors who think this is their chance at buying BTC at 0.008$, and unfortunately there are still legacy layer 1/2 chains with no activity with huge market caps, so appeal to pump a token to 100x (mentally at least), lives strong in the human psyche

9. More builders less bros - win

10. Everyone is an "investor", but some investors own a few dollars of a project and talk like the major shareholders

11. Team America is back in the game...uck yeah

12. Everyone is believing in the next bull market incoming

13. Hacks are skyrocketing, protect yourselves and your projects

14. Crypto exchanges are getting more professional (ok the leaders are, nice surprise), BUT it is still a $hitshow out there dealing with most of these groups. Coinbase team is the standout in terms of professionalism, smart intelligent humans just wanting to build great things without the BS.

15. Next generation industry participants drink like amateurs and need to learn how to party

Real World Asset #RWA tokens were always going to bring another huge use case to crypto, and we have seen how valuable stablecoins are to the digital asset eco system #USDC #USDT are the 3rd and 6th biggest coins by market cap) and both coming out with yield bearing #RWA (security) tokens now.

Now, as we introduce more tokenized real world assets, including Startup equity, Venture funds, Real Estate, Private credit/debt etc as tokenized offerings, market caps are going to soar and volumes are growing daily.

I want to be able to buy, sell and trade every real asset I have, as easily as buying stocks on interactive brokers or crypto on exchanges, and we can and we will.

The end game is super apps where it is all in one place, the winners are going to be cryptocurrency exchanges that do it properly (shout out to @binance , @infamous @FTX_Official and others that tried to sell #RWA illegally in 2021), and other apps like #robinhood buying #bitstamp and OG cryptoexchange, @InsideGrab moving to sell crypto, @Alipay with 350M offshore users, and the list goes on and on, as the worlds of #TradFi and #DeFi converge.
