Point is theres a sharp drop after 5 yrs. 🤔 Most dont have passion 4 it, tbh most suck at, its a paycheck & debt forgiveness. The only profession where ur ability isnt questioned.

Teachers have special student loan repayment programs, if they teach for 5 yrs and at certain schools they can get loans forgiven much faster than paying them off. There's a huge chunk of teachers who teach just to do this. After the 5 yrs they quit.

Literacy rates down, Math down. I'd say its not working. My homeschooled kids run circles around other kids. Socially & acedemically.
