‼️ ZELENSKYY: For the first time in the war, an enemy position was captured entirely by ground robotic systems and drones - without any infantry. A robot entered the most dangerous zones instead of a soldier and took the positions.
«The future is here, on the battlefield, and Ukraine is creating it. These are our ground robotic systems. For the first time in this war's history, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned GRS platforms and drones. The occupiers surrendered, and this operation was completed without infantry involvement and without losses on our side. Ratel, Termite, Ardal, Lynx, Zmiy, Protector, Volya and other GRS completed over 22 000 missions at the front in just 3 months. In other words, over 22 000 times lives were saved. A robot went into the most dangerous zones instead of a soldier» - Zelenskyy’s address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex. April 13th, 2026.
€4B defense package agreed with Germany 🇩🇪
This is a massive boost for our air defense: funding for several hundred Patriot missiles and 36 IRIS-T launchers to protect our cities and critical infrastructure. Grateful to Boris Pistorius and German leadership for support.
This effort is an extension DIGITALEUROPE’s AI & Tech CEO Declaration in the State of the Union for the European Union address. The CEO letter is open for signature for all companies and has been signed by 76 European and international CEOs to date.
DIGITALEUROPE has several members who have abandoned projects using AI because of the hassle and high cost of complying with high-risk provisions. It doesn’t have to be this way. Let’s take some time to get the AI Act right.
Complying with the AI Act can cost a small company between €320k and €600k. Why are we doing this to machinery or medical devices manufacturers already covered by safety regulations? Let’s take some time to get the AI Act right.

We believe that #EuropeCan win the tech race, but not without women. We need more female leaders in tech, and more women working in AI, quantum, cybersecurity, or defence technologies.
But what are the hurdles to achieving this, and how can they be overcome? We've asked some women at DIGITALEUROPE's family, and below is the result.
👋🇵🇱 Dzien dobry, Polska!
Great to have our Director General @BonefeldCecilia and Senior Director for Outreach @HeidemannLasse at the TIME Economic Forum, organised by our Polish members: @kig_ei, @ZIPSEE_Cyfrowa, @PIITPolska.

✅ Smarter EU regulation to fuel innovation
✅ A stronger and unified #SingleMarket
✅ More investments in #AI, quantum, and chips
#EuropeCan win the tech race because we have talent. All we need is action.
