Huge violent riots explode across Italy to demand their government boycotts israel.
Be like Albania and be like Italy and get israel fucked all the way off out of our nations!
Bill Maher: Regime change didn't happen, uprising didn't happen, we didn't get the nukes, we didn't even get their military. And we look weak.
Susan Rice: Now we have to go back to the negotiating table with a much weaker hand.
Chris Murphy: Netanyahu convinced Trump that there was going to be a quick regime fall and a pro-American, pro-Israeli government taking its place. He bought into that flawed logic.
@RickyFromDaRock@RyanRozbiani No other option but to sacrifice a country of 90 million people to fight for 4 million Palestinians.
Got it. Iranians are there to be sacrificed for your battle. Got it.
You guys are fucked up people. Iran is just to be used for your agenda. Got it.
@Skade590739@RKelanic@defpriorities It is also not about territory for Iran. It is about Irans foreign policy towards Israel.
Irans current policy is Palestine first, most Iranians hate it. They rather have sanctions lifted and make peace with the USA and hav an Iran fist policy.
@MorsVitae86@samnovva@RKelanic@defpriorities Most Iranians are not interested in being sanctioned and bombed for the Arab/Israeli conflict.
It is not feasible to sacrifice 90 million Iranians for 3-4 million Palestinians.
We rather negotiate our arming and funding of these proxies to stop the bombs and sanctions.
@Kekocwb1@bharadwajtalks@RKelanic@defpriorities We all not praying for USA to win.
We are praying for Iran to get out of fascist clerical rul and make a settlement with USA that lifts sanctions and stops the bmbs.
@AlanFJr@RKelanic@mattparlmer It is also not existential for Iran and about Irans foreign policy towards Israel and it's nuclear program.
It is not worth being bombed and sanctioned while selling our oil to China at 33% discount.
Negotiating the end of bombs and sanctions would be Iran first policy.
@RKelanic This war is not an existential threat to Iran or Iranians, its an existential threat to the ruling system called Velayate Fagi ( fascist clerical rule ).
If they allow a referandum we would vote them out and make peace with USA overnight and get sanctions and bombs to stop.
@RKelanic@ChronicBabak@defpriorities Ukraine is fighting over territory and is funded by the west.
Iran is fighting for nothing related to Iranian interest and has to fund it itself.
Both would have been better off negotiating at an early stage before their country got destroyed.
@RickyFromDaRock@RyanRozbiani Even if that means Iran will be destroyed too. Got it.
You guys just want to use Iran and don’t give a fuck what happens to Iran.
Anyone pushing the notion that mourning the schoolgirls killed in strikes in Minab means you’re pro regime is an absolute idiot and a disgrace.
Children were killed. Sharing that information doesn’t make you pro regime, it makes you human.
Disregarding it shows your bias.
Exposing the Islamic Republic’s crimes does not make you a war monger.
Being against war does not make you a regime supporter.
Amplifying voices from Iran doesn’t mean you agree with everything you’re being told.
An intro to Holding Multiple Truths & Amplifying Iranian Voices.
Scenes of jubilation in a bomb-free evening for Tehran. Hardcore supporters celebrate the announcement of the Supreme Leader's successor. Most are staying indoors, dismayed by the thought of tolerating an even younger Khamenei. Mojtaba is expected to make his first address soon.
The Iranian people love my country the UAE, and the rest of the world. Please know that Persian civilization and culture are rich in beauty, wisdom, and knowledge. What you see from the Islamic Republic regime in Iran does not represent the true spirit of Persia. Iran is home to one of the oldest continuous civilizations in the world, with thousands of years of contributions to art, poetry, science, philosophy, and architecture.
The people of Iran are warm, open-minded, and deeply connected to life, culture, and peace. They have long traditions of hospitality, creativity, and intellectual thought that have influenced the world for centuries.
Again, the Iranian people love my country, the UAE, and the rest of the world. They are not defined by the regime that rules them, they are a proud people who value dignity, culture, and peaceful living.
From my sister who is a Pharmacist and a Cancer researcher: As someone who has worked with carcinogenic agents, this is deeply disturbing. Large-scale oil fires release toxic mixtures of carcinogens, including benzene, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and fine particulate matter, which can spread through smoke and return to the ground through contaminated rainfall. Recent environmental health research shows that such events can lead to long-term contamination of air, soil, and water, increasing risks of respiratory disease, DNA damage, and cancer in exposed populations. The tragedy is that the consequences do not end with the fire. Persistent pollutants can remain in the environment for years, meaning the health impact may affect not only those exposed today, but potentially future generations as well.
I can’t stop thinking about all the kids in Tehran breathing hydrocarbons and all the negative health outcomes they’ll have for decades to come.
All from bombs funded by our taxes.
