CEPA protest at the Dáil Tuesday at 13.00 to speak out about the proposed development of Wind Factories without any fit for purpose guidelines. Guidelines that date crack to 2006.. Wlhoever thought that 180 M tall industrial structures should be built 720 M from family homes.

The historic Obelisk Bridge outside Drogheda will reopen to traffic today after nine months of refurbishment works. The 154-year old bridge closed last August in order for essential structural works to be carried out.

The bridge reopens at 2.30pm.
