Gadot insists DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran told her they would develop “Wonder Woman 3″ when they took over the company. When asked on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast if she was told they'd be going in a different direction, Gadot responded: “They told me the opposite! They told me, ‘We’re going to do develop it with you. The third [movie]…'”

She was ultimately not surprised when she got the boot from Wonder Woman because “I saw the way everybody else was handled. The Henry [Cavill] situation was not handled elegantly to say the least. Same with Patty [Jenkins]. It was not handled elegantly. We’re all adults and it’s all good. It’s not even about [James Gunn and Peter Safran].
