When citizens feeding protesters are questioned about "who funds them," but billionaires funding political power are not, it exposes a deeper double standard.

Democracy survives because ordinary people contribute what they can—food, water, time, and solidarity—not because of unchecked corporate influence.

Instead of asking who bought a meal for a protester, ask who is buying influence over public policy.

A democracy needs accountability from both governments and corporations—not suspicion of citizens exercising their constitutional rights.
