@JulianAndreone If only there was some system where instead of just picking one candidate you could select your top candidates with some order of preference so your vote always goes to someone you like.
@missamberreid Do you think many people become addicted because of hopelessness? If they have a job, it's horrible and they feel stuck. Or if they can't find a job, they see no path forward, or they have issues with friends that are not supporting them in times of need. Or is it different?
@thdxr I do this a decent amount for @openlibrary by @internetarchive but the key is it doesn't feel like zero external impact because I know I'm clearing the way for other contributors to build faster and better. Migrating to FastAPI is like this.
@heyandras Do you have any plans to make a demo in the browser so people could just quickly paste stuff in and see what the output is like? I think it would be pretty chill even if people have to enter their own keys.
@Zai_org@NVIDIAGTC A use case for turbo would be helping me convert the hundreds of templates that are in an ancient templating language so they are FastAPI compatible. This is for @openlibrary and I'm a core maintainer!
@DanWahlin Looks like a great tutorial. If I get approved for the free version for open source maintainers, I will give it a try. I am a maintainer for a pretty big project with over 6,000 stars but don't have access :/ https://t.co/ypatdEjhSg
For decades, NYC has run one of the largest, most unacknowledged welfare programs in its history, for suburban car owners.
By giving away 3 million street parking spaces of expensive public real estate for free, it’s a multi-billion dollar annual wealth transfer
My family has donated $200,000 to @osendowment which launches today. Open source underpins critical infrastructure globally, and we need to pursue as many ways to sustainably fund it as possible; a single funding model doesn't cover all cases. https://t.co/BO9RwEBAA0
