If you have a verifiable example of a vintage car being successfully and safely fitted with airbags, let alone more advanced tech, I’d love to see it. @CharlieBecker80 @wasianterror To break it down further for you: I’d argue that an alternation to the frame or chassis to the extent that it could accommodate modern safety tech would alter the cars appearance so fundamentally it could no longer be meaningfully be considered a retrofit, it’s a different car

@CharlieBecker80 @wasianterror Modern safety technology/ airbags are built into the design of the car. Retrofitting an old boxy chassis with modern airbags etc is not feasible. I’m all for a new car with stripped back features and retro styling etc though
