Ultimate chaos of the west end: everyone’s cars are trapped after them shutting a road for 6 days for road works - no other way in or out. Also they’ve damaged the internet cables so everyone has no internet and theres no phone signal in the buildings. What a riot
Common theme: 2018 thesis defence: “you need to accredit the book you got these images from” 2026 publication submission: “we don’t accept AI images” … both times images made with PowerPoint 🤣 both times submitting the raw files for image proof #givemeabreak
Never have I felt so unsafe in a city as I do in Denver. After an amazing time in both Boulder and flagstaff it’s really soured my trip. Definitively one to avoid in the future.
In just a few days I’ll start cocodona 250miles but some wins before i set off: 1) being elected to the scottish BMA council 2) being selected for both an oral and poster presentation at UKCCIIS conference in Bath! #ACLresearch
The one thing garmin had over coros wat the climb pro … coros have entered the chat with a much more user friendly and tailored version with suggestions based on previous performance, including time at aid stations and CP to CP segments built into
Gpx maps 😮💨😮💨 #gameover#coros
UTMB ultra-trail Australia being 2 weeks before ISAKOS 2027 Sydney is just screaming for a double header of my two favourite things: ACL research and trail running 🏃🏽♀️
@timricketts_ It’s interesting because in Scotland so far of anyone I know it’s made not a blind bit of difference across about 8 specialties with only 1 person securing a job and all FY3s
Seeing high scores across a range of my interview stations, derailed by a station where the examiners remarks are actually quite mean is a shame; a shame that one station has effectively cost me an st1 position. Unfortunately this process has been pretty unkind throughout.
In the midst of demonstrating a transparent process I ranked 22 (for 13 jobs it’s an unlikely Mach for me) in over 1000 applicants that’s me being in the the top 2.2% of applicants and still not getting a job 🫠 cry
Feeling so thankful that I have a friend who’s also part of the st1 application process for ortho because we are both circling the stress drain together 😅. It’s so hard when you’ve worked for years towards an interview to be living in limbo for a while 😕
Had a chest infection, then got trapped in Japan due to ww3, got scammed on accom so can’t race Chianti, now have Covid and lost my sense of smell and taste ✨. Better get the ortho job because this bad luck string is just going on forever ☹️☹️
Histopathology seem to be getting the ball rolling for the st1 train releasing their rankings first … hopefully this means ortho isn’t far behind 🙏🏽🙏🏽 #st1ortho
@bookingcom I will entertain this for the 3rd time of contacting customer services and if not I will be escalating the matter due to the safety risk your site is posing
@bookingcom calling you out for all to see. A scam advert for a property not even owned by the person. Evidence of such on another website, and your customer service is saying they can’t cancel the booking, only the ‘owner’. This is a massive safety issue for a remote listing!
Made it home from Japan via a hefty fee from BA. If this doesn’t show commitment to not wanting to mess the rota up for my team at the jubilee I dunno what does 😅
