I am opposed to mandatory digital ID - people should be able to go about their daily lives without such infringements.
That aside, by calling it BritCard, the Prime Minister seems to be attempting to force every Scot to declare ourselves British.
I am a Scot. 🏴
Celtic Fans For The Liberation Of Palestine (CFLP) has released a statement opposing the potential appointment of Robbie Keane as Celtic FC's new manager:
“As Celtic fans, we oppose the proposed appointment of Robbie Keane as manager of Celtic Football Club.
Celtic supporters have a long and proud history of solidarity with the Palestinian people. For us, Robbie Keane’s decision to manage Maccabi Tel Aviv during the genocide in Gaza is impossible to ignore. To choose to manage a club in Israel while, less than 40 miles away, the same country was using indiscriminate weapons of mass murder against a defenceless people is unconscionable.
Celtic was founded by a community shaped by the legacy of genocide, displacement and famine. Our club’s roots lie in solidarity with those who suffered injustice and oppression. We cannot forget where we came from, nor turn our backs on those facing genocide today.
At a time when Celtic requires unity and collective purpose, this appointment would be deeply divisive among the support. It would also represent a predictable and uninspiring choice at a moment when greater ambition is needed.
We urge the Celtic board to listen to supporters’ concerns and reconsider this appointment.”
Scotland doesn’t need posh indie Glasgow Uni boy bands making World Cup ‘anthems’.
Scotland needs a ‘bits n pieces’ type dance track with like 6 words in it to get the people going.
The Scottish yearn for a bouncy anthem that they can sing after 14 overpriced pints.
Get yer broccoli headed private school nonsense in the bin and give the people what they want !
Labour promised to cut energy bills, but in July they are rising again.
People in energy-rich Scotland should not be paying some of the highest bills in Europe.
Scotland should control its energy - and today we will vote to demand the devolution of energy powers to Holyrood.
If you do exactly the opposite of what Tony Blair is saying.
Renationalise everything.
Support pensioners, disabled people and low paid workers.
Don't waste all your budget on War.
And tell Donald Trump to fuck off.
That's a pretty good manifesto isn't it?
People across Scotland will be deeply worried by another rise in energy bills announced today.
We produce enormous amounts of energy, yet despite Labour’s promises to cut them, bills keep soaring.
It’s time Scotland had control of Scotland’s energy.
