@Bernatmago@MaNeo_O I mean he said Ubisoft is firing him and his team because that's what they think they deserve. It has nothing to do with that, although I get the irony of the comment. It's all about money and profits and right now Ubi has neither so the math is simple
@Bernatmago@MaNeo_O I said that's how modern business work. I'm not justifying it. I'm stating facts. You can scream and say it's unfair, sure, but the fact remains and the world goes on and tomorrow 1000 more companies will do the same to their employees. Free markets have pros and cons.
@Bernatmago@MaNeo_O That's not how it works in business. Leadership and executives are always the last to take the blame. It's like kings and queens. They blame everyone to escape judgement until it's unavoidable and they have to face it themselves, but first they throw other pp under the bus.
@Filodemoto@MaNeo_O Calling me dumb as fuck because you don't understand basic economics and business. Is this how you always end a discussion, by throwing insults at the other party? Mighty civilized of you indeed.
@Filodemoto@MaNeo_O Again, it's business. If companies would not fire people ever, cuz they wanna be nice and screw profits and all that, guess what, they would all go bankrupt and then nobody would have jobs ever.
@PlayStation like I said, greed will be your downfall. Gamers are now your cash cow, they are your customer, you know the thing that keeps you in business.
PlayStation to face Mexican lawmakers as they prepare to file an antitrust complaint against Sony over its reported plan to stop releasing physical PlayStation games after 2028🚀
✅Representative Iraís Reyes and Senator Luis Donaldo Colosio argue that forcing users to buy exclusively through the PlayStation Store would give Sony an unfair monopoly.
✅Their primary concerns include:
Consumer Harm: Eliminating the ability to shop around for the best prices and entirely destroying the second-hand game market.
✅Pushing out businesses that rely on selling physical games.
✅Giving Sony unchecked power over game pricing, distribution, and the commercial terms forced upon developers and publishers.
Don’t give up!
Time to shatter that holier-than-thou attitude

@Omegawyrm76 You're forgetting the most important part. Steam has a lot more offerings. Games are cheapear. If SONY goes full digital, people will go to steam more. Also btw online is free on steam. I know COPE!
@ChrisHarte7@RinoTheBouncer Supporting just means you'll be able to play the ones already printed. Not that they'll print new games after 2028 January.
@PlayStation we see you and we're not stupid. You may think we'll forget but you're also forgetting that gamers are the toughest audience in entertainment. Time will tell who wins. Problem is, if you lose, you will lose a lot of $$$$$$
Sony’s push for ending physical game discs has nothing to do with “the future”🚀
✅It is about ending second hand market
✅Raising prices on a whim
✅Creating a monopoly
✅Ending game ownership
✅Eventually likely tying you to subscribe
✅Making you buy the same game multiple times when license end and then they suddenly come up with a “remaster”
So if you support cancelling physical games, you are active fighting against your own self interest, because the topic is far bigger than just nostalgia
Don’t let every self-labeled donkey analyst try to convince you otherwise. They are either:
A) Sony’s sock-puppets
B) Don’t want to burn bridges with Sony for future opportunities
