Bulgaria is committed to playing a leading role in the Black Sea region, with a strong focus on security and connectivity. Together with Romania, we are developing a Black Sea Maritime Security Centre as a flagship European initiative to enhance the protection of critical infrastructure, ensure the security of maritime navigation, and strengthen resilience against hybrid threats.

Transport and energy connectivity, including the development of the Middle Corridor, are strategic priorities for Bulgaria, strengthening links between Europe and Asia and contributing to more resilient supply chains.
