Negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic are set to resume in Pakistan on July 11, following Ali Khamenei’s days-long funeral, Al Arabiya reported Saturday citing sources.
The IDF says it intercepted one drone in the north while several others landed in open areas according to policy. The military described the incident as another ceasefire violation by Hezbollah.
«В України немає карт», — сказав Трамп.
Але коли ти не бачиш карт — це не означає, що їх немає. Це означає, що ти не в грі.
Сила, витримка і непохитна воля — ось карти України, які вона розігрує вже четвертий рік поспіль.

Everyone should want the leader of our nation to be someone who takes responsibility for what is happening, is honest about the situation, and lays out a sensible, practical path forward.
Someone who continually blames others, makes excuses, calls people names, demands unquestioning loyalty, and threatens to get his way is nothing more than an immature, incompetent fool.
According to the Wall Street Journal, a European intelligence service has already circulated internal assessments about “commercial and economic plans” the Trump team has been exploring with Russia behind closed doors. That report sent shockwaves through capitals across the continent. It confirmed what many in Europe feared. Trump is moving toward a geopolitical deal with Moscow that would undermine Europe’s security architecture at its core.
European officials, speaking privately, say the reaction inside Europe is no longer measured. It is urgent. The working assumption is simple.
If Trump signals recognition of Russia’s territorial claims, Europe must treat it as a strategic emergency.
Analysts familiar with current discussions say Europe is now gaming out responses that go far beyond traditional diplomatic protests. What is being modelled are extreme economic countermeasures designed to hit the United States at the precise structural points where it is most exposed.
And there is one vulnerability everyone knows about.
The United States is sitting on historic, destabilising levels of public debt.
On top of that, foreign holders of US Treasuries control trillions in American obligations. If Europe and likeminded partners begin shifting even a portion of these holdings into the global market, the immediate shock to the dollar could be dramatic.
Scenario modelling inside Europe points to a series of cascading effects if such a shift were triggered.
A rapid sell off could:
• Slam the dollar’s international value
• Disrupt liquidity across the entire US banking system
• Push borrowing costs upward in a violent spike
• Lock the American financial sector into a paralysis more severe than the 2008 crisis
One senior European economist described it as a potential financial whiplash that could hit the US harder than any external shock in modern history.
And the political fallout inside the United States would be devastating.
With midterm elections approaching, a crisis unleashed by a European response would detonate under the Republican Party. Voters would immediately link economic freefall to a president who chose private arrangements with Moscow over allied stability. In that scenario, Republicans wouldn’t just lose ground. They could be pushed out of serious national political influence for decades.
Trump continues to operate as if Russia is some rising economic colossus he can leverage for grand deals. Figures like Witkoff have convinced him of fantasies that collapse under basic scrutiny. The reality is painfully simple. Russia’s economy is smaller than Italy’s and shrinking year by year. The true danger is not Russian strength.
It is an American president aligning himself with the Kremlin against Europe’s security interests.
Europe is reaching a hard conclusion.
Under Trump, America is not a reliable partner.
And if he chooses to legitimise Russian aggression, Europe is prepared to respond with economic force powerful enough to shake the American financial system at its foundation.
The message from Europe is becoming impossible to miss. This moment is approaching a breaking point.
And the consequences would be historic.
The European Parliament has adopted a resolution demanding that the EU be included at the negotiating table and that Russia’s frozen assets be transferred to Kyiv.
The document also includes a pledge to never recognize the occupied regions as part of the Russian Federation.
The resolution further states that any peace agreement must include the withdrawal of Russian troops from Crimea and the Donbas.
