Bro to bro: When a man asks another man for food, he's already swallowed a lot of pride. Don't mock him. Help him. Life has a way of humbling every man.
If the history taught in our (Ugandan) schools was less about the evolution of Western societies & more about ours, we would spend less time (if any at all) arguing about migration & integration into & assimilation of different people in our societies. We would be less ignorant.
Honourable Prime Minister @Dr_JNsengiyumva & @PrimatureRwanda ,
I respectfully propose the implementation of a 24-hour working economy across Rwanda’s main commercial cities, such as @CityofKigali , @HuyeDistrict , and @RubavuDistrict , @MusanzeDistrict , @NyagatareDistr .
With the cost of living currently high, many people are struggling to make ends meet, and unemployment remains a pressing challenge.
I guess by officially supporting round-the-clock operations in #manufacturing, #logistics, and #service sectors, we can extended hours , this will also drive economic growth and business output, and People will have more avenues to work or start side businesses to survive the tough economic climate. Multi-shift systems will open up thousands of new employment opportunities.
I humbly ask your office @PrimatureRwanda to consider policies such as enhanced night security, flexible labor shifts, and business subsidies that will make this 24-hour economy a reality for the everyday Rwandan.
After watching yesterday’s meeting Hon Prime Minister @Dr_JNsengiyumva Again Thank you for your time and your continued dedication to improving the lives of Rwandans.
Have a wonderful weekend,
@RwandaLabour | @CNkulikiyinka | @InesMpambara | @RwandaInterior | @Vbiruta | @RwandaFinance | @yusuf_murangwa | @RwandaLocalGov | @Dominiquehab | @RwandaParliamnt |@GKazarwa | @J_Uwizeye
When I built my skincare company in Senegal, the hardest part wasn't making a great product. My team is incredible, and they proved that from day one.
The hardest part was navigating a system designed to squeeze money out of you at every turn. Permits, inspections, fees, delays, and then more fees on top of the fees.
THAT is what keeps Africa poor, not a lack of talent or ambition.
The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began.
The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start.
Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have.
If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
@rwomchechen Sir Charles, the bible says as well that the state has a sword to reward those who do well and punish those who do wrong.
What y 're saying is also in the bible but a command to individuals not the state.
“The Do-nothingers like Andrew Mwenda, always running around noisily telling lies, claim to save government money from loss-making projects. Yet, they happily cohabit peacefully and gleefully with the neo-colonial status quo of confining Africa to producing and exporting unprocessed raw-materials where we lose so much value..” ~Kaguta~
