@osgamer74@KenCape0327@AgrivarDragon The much, much better way to do this that doesn’t penalize people for not having the high stats their character does is to focus on their approach instead of their specific wording. If they’re playing a high charisma char they shouldn’t actually have to be charismatic
@osgamer74@AgrivarDragon So you actively punish your less charismatic players? If you play this way, you should also be making your players physically prove themselves as well. And while we’re at it, let’s also get rid of hp and just start decking each other at the table and see who drops first
@BurnJonJonBurn@LogantheGM Because it’s fun! Giving players little sneak peeks at next session or the current session is great to crank up the drama, and at the end of the day the drama is what captures people’s attention most of the time :D
@LogantheGM It’s a narrative tool, and like tools, it’s better for some jobs than others. I’m a big fan of both cold opens and “post credit” cutscenes, they tend to help raise tension/drama and give players something to be excited about!
@rahrahstorytime@rosatyrs As a last resort you can always break up the video into smaller segments, export those with captions, then stitch them back together
@TellNoTalesPod Leo is willing to sacrifice things to uphold their lofty ideals. Julia has answers for seemingly any situation. Frank refuses to let go of things, no matter how much they want to leave (I havent listened to the show)
