My personal blueprint to build a successful business (as a full time employee).
I will be using this exact blueprint and share the results over time.
Step 1: Idea generation and validation๐
Totally unsure about the initial pricing of my b2b saas stillโฆ
I want to have multiple tiers with increasing features.
Starting out only the most basic tier will be available.
My pricing options are:
๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ
- this would attract the most โcustomersโ (lower hurdle)
- this could make it more popular at first
- but I would subsidize it and would make 0$, since I donโt have a paid offer yet
- higher emotional investment of the customer
- more premium feeling
- I would have revenue at first
- I could create special offers with discounts, that create urgency
- but I would loose a lot customers that may have tested my free tier and would have bought a higher tier later
Iโm leaning toward having a paid basic tier. Especially as itโs b2b where freemium is not as common and it could come over as a bad product if itโs free.
What do you think?
So it looks like the first design of the concept will be done in about 7 days time. Price is around 400$.
Next step will be creating a homepage, that will act as a marketing measure and lead funnel.
Still going strong creating content on social media for the business.

IMO there are often two types of founders:
The founder who knows it all (width and depth). He knows the details of SEO, Programming their MVP, Marketing, even Design. But that is most of the time not the ideal approach. Itโs overwhelming and if you want to do it correctly the equivalent of multiple full time jobs.
Ideally a founder knows the basics of most topics (width) and is able to offload and coordinate the tasks to experts in the field (delegation).
He then only concerns himself with the most important part: selling his product
@Timb03 Wonโt redirecting to pally hurt the domains current ranking in search engines? As you have basically deleted all existing content and replaced it?
Today marks the kickoff of my current project ๐
It will be a B2B SaaS, but I will not be marketing it here, just sharing the journey.
My first step will be creating value. Lots of value. I am currently hiring a freelance designer for the rough outline of the free part of the app. That will be the first focus area.
I am also creating content related to the niche to attract the first leads in parallel.
Iโll update regularly.
I would say take a look at how much time it takes you to do these tasks right now. Calculate the price of them with your potential hires hourly.
If you think you can make more money than that with your time, itโs time to hire.
Probably a freelancer first so you can cancel anytime.

Really respect your content man. Followed you back in the day when I was trading nfts. Getting value from you to this day.
Read the book โMagic Cleaningโ and I am on track to become as minimalistic as I have ever been.
This is kind of life changing.
What sticked with me most:
With everything that you own, ask yourself the following question.
Do you really need to keep this?
If the answer is no, get rid of it.
@parik36 Do you have the generation of the image solved and need a solution for storage and retrieval?
I would also suggest s3 but that would mean either generating a pre signed link every time an image needs to be accessed or having your bucket publicly available.
