You cannot stand before the world and declare that Nigeria is poor, then turn around and parade your ministers in million-dollar Maybachs, G-Wagons and Rolls-Royces, while public officials fly around in private jets. Your optics contradict your narrative, your lifestyle contradicts your statistics.

If Nigeria is indeed poor (and that claim itself deserves scrutiny), then let that reality be reflected in how the executive and legislature spend public money and manage public resources.

The APC needs to understand that public office is not a licence for extravagance. If citizens must endure economic hardship, those entrusted with their taxes must also demonstrate restraint.

You cannot preach poverty to the people while practising luxury with their money. It makes no sense. If anything, it only exposes the sheer disregard for the suffering of ordinary Nigerians.

I lived, worked and studied there for almost two decade but had to return home as it’s where the heart is. I love South Africa and they will over overcome their challenges. Yes they have their difficulties dealing with post apartied trauma and low economical empowerment not mentioned the high unemployment and poverty.

@GullatBB14 @Jason2bartlett No farmers are not been particularly targeted murder and tortured. Yes farmers have been murdered and it’s a crime and the murderers were arrested and convicted. The crime drive is basically caused by poverty.

[RAY(Jer.29:11) @Rayslight11]

@HTied2 @Jason2bartlett That’s not true. I had neighbors of every race and sincerely it’s not a war zone. I’m not a lying POS you can construct your point avoiding insults.

Thank you @fkeyamo for sharing the scope of work to rehabilitate and add new terminals, smart system and road network to MMI in Lagos.

Great idea to have a standard airport worth international recognition and aid travelling experience.

I would advise all stakeholders involved to keep with TIME which you exempted to mention. We can only ascertain succcess by initializing each milestones with timelines to aid world recognition from accredited bodies eg @PMInstitute which will also drive tourism as a national heritage and point of entry to international investors and visitors, assist other stakeholders, press, civil society to plan each visit for publications.. To avoid other constraints e.g Risk factors, Inflation which in turn stall project quality. Neglect (Also help you abstain from your successor using same for your govt.),

As you mentioned the cost will be financed from the subsidy gains without loans. A five years maintenance plan should be agreed with the construction firm subject to renewal to avoid decrepit.

I believe it’s possible as it’s a necessity but to ease Nigerians trust deficit these elements have to be TIME, SCOPE AND QUALITY OF WORK into consideration. Wishing you all the best! Thank you too.

We lack project management skills as we can easily find this in our planning stage of projects in a well functioning environment but so many square pegs in round holes. In almost two decades as a civil engineer and certified project manager this is the only country where projects are not planned and executed within time frames, scope management, quality accessment and cost implementation.

Abuja has a functioning water board in the city centre and few environs. Boreholes are a major cause of road damages, loose soil that causes gully erosions, vegetation loss, typhoid fever, habitat loss and affect our ecosystem. The foundation of the earth is water from lakes, rivers and oceans around our environment.

Nottingham Forest's Taiwo Awoniyi has woken from an induced coma after undergoing surgery to repair a serious abdominal injury.

Having had the first part of the surgery on Monday, he spent Tuesday in an induced coma as medical staff monitored his progress as part of the procedure.

Awoniyi underwent the second stage of the operation, including closing the wound, on Wednesday – a process that was successful.
