ParkIt Malaysia has clarified that an individual allegedly collecting RM5 from motorists at the Maluri MRT Park and Ride facility was neither its employee nor representative, after the incident went viral.

The company said it currently collects no parking fees there and has not authorised third parties to do so.

It has since lodged a police report, while auxiliary police personnel visited the site to inspect the area and monitor security.
