@MERK__ONE Granted this doesn't apply to weird tumblr-y art of shipping and slice-of-life scenes, but thankfully nobody brings prints of those and tries to sell them at a con, it's the kind of thing that can only succeed in a niche because social media exists.

@MERK__ONE It's because MK's artstyle has become bland and uninteresting to people. It was big during MK9, but for some reason there's a tendency to only do art/cosplay of the most recent game in a series like they wanna piggyback off game hype to get attention or something.
