Hydrogen fuel-cell buses have begun operation in Zhengzhou, Henan province. The engines emit water that is clean enough to drink, instead of carbon dioxide – a greenhouse gas. It takes 3 to 5 minutes to refuel each bus, and they can travel for about 500 kilometres on a full tank.
