This week we had the thrill of joining the school's debate with other schools at the Athenaeum
We saw historical treasures such as the Magna Carta, a passport from Thomas Molyneux & original maps showing the Liverpool to Manchester railway. We explored the magnificent library.

Absolutely wonderful pictures of pupils from @MabLanePri taking part in the Young Minds, Big Debates event for World Children's Day at the Athenaeum in Liverpool yesterday! You were fantastic! Well done!
Today is World Children's Day and we're celebrating by holding two different events for children where they get the chance to discuss and debate issues that matter to them. We're holding an online debate as well as a face to face event at the Athenaeum.
One of my proudest moments was watching Kotryna win this award. Please take a look at the video and consider nominating a pupil, it will change their life. @uksla@CILIPSLG@ReadingatLLP
It is Empathy Action Month! What books have you read with your pupils that help to develop our empathy for others? How do we show that empathy? How do we put empathy into action?
🌟HAPPY #EMPATHYACTIONMONTH! 💪🌱
