... By no means exhaustive list; mostly groups I've seen politically opposing public power efforts.
But I could go on listing various billionaire funded NGOs that your average abundance hater seems to consider as vox populi.
If we're highlighting the dark money going to abundance groups then let's not act like they're uniquely embodying the antithesis of democratic, mass membership politics.
Corruption has poisoned our politics for too long.
@RepAOC, @RepMikeLevin, and I are taking it head on.
Working class Americans deserve a political system that answers to them, not the elite.
There's a reason Tim Miller at The Bulwark is telling people to watch this race: One candidate built his career with his hands. The other built his with his family's money.
Proud to be named one of the Democrats Who Can Win Red America.
Chip in today to flip this seat for working families: https://t.co/bfTqjTqCjf
I get asked a lot what races are worth donating to. The honest answer is I think most political donations are a waste & campaigns piss away astonishing amounts of resources.
Today’s newsletter offers a skeptics list of races worth supporting https://t.co/8gcOkTHZAD

.@JamieAgerNC: "I’m from rural America, and farmers almost always live in rural America. We've seen a lot of expenses continue to increase over the past several years. Gas prices, diesel fuel — it's over $5 right now. It was planting season about a month ago back home, and all the folks around here are struggling. The high diesel prices, finding fertilizer — even when you can get it, it's very, very expensive."
"Almost immediately after the 2024 election, some strategists argued that Democrats should stop talking about the threat of global warming altogether. A growing number of Democratic politicians agree."

MAKE 'EM PAY.
Make the data center companies and hyperscalers pay — funding massive upgrades to the electricity system we all use.
Make 'em pay so that working families don't.
DON'T BAN 'EM; MAKE 'EM PAY!
@JaneAFlegal served as Senior Director for Industrial Emissions in the Biden White House.
At Searchlight, she's spearheading novel policy ideas that can turn America's data center buildout into massive public benefits for working families.
There are already more than 4,000 data centers across the country. Instead of a moratorium on these facilities, Jane proposes an American Grid Infrastructure Fund — a new system which would ensure:
1. Families only pay for the electricity they use, and never pay more because of data centers
2. Data centers invest in the grid by funding massive, generational upgrades to the electricity system we all use — ending decades of neglect
3. Regulators can hold companies accountable to every single commitment they make
In addition to the Fund, she has also proposed that states use tax incentives to 'make data centers better grid citizens:' take-or-pay load commitments, full cost causation, and more.
Jane and @danielledeis sit down to discuss.
