Catholic, husband, sinner, and stay at home dad who is on social media to use my ‘dad voice’. Make sure to take my tweets personally and out of context. 🙄
I’m a dad.
I change diapers, I wash dishes, I wash laundry, I get up with little ones in the middle of the night, I give baths, I push kids on swings, I make dinner (although not always well), I give hugs, etc.
There’s nothing manly about pushing fatherhood off on your wife.
A practice that I find helpful is to pray, fast & offer up a penances for people before I fraternally correct them. I would like to encourage you to do the same if you feel led by the Holy Spirit to correct another member of the body of Christ.
Tuesday evening I will be speaking to a women’s group about St. Joseph the Most Chaste Spouse.
Please pray for me and those who will be listening. And invite others to pray for us.
St. Joseph, pray for us.
@ZachLaughlin6 I’m not going to give specifics so as to avoid gossip. But one example is how many people feel the need to comment on every issue as it’s happening. When everyone is talking, those who need to be heard get drowned out.
A lot of people try to evangelize in ways that God never called them to (even on social media). This has some bad consequences. God has called everyone to evangelize, but to each stay in our own lane. Otherwise we have a series of crashes, things colliding, damage being done.
@catholicguyshow This is my first time answering. I tried to think like Lino and Mark when answering the questions. Actually, I first tried to think like Tyler, I still have a headache.
@DaughterStPaul@DaniellesHabit Pregnant wife (and our daughter), an upcoming talk I’ll be giving on St. Joseph (and those who will be listening), and for peace in something that has been burdening my heart. 🙏❤️
The salesman at the furniture store told me, “This sofa will seat 5 people without any problems".
I said, “Where the hell am I going to find 5 people without any problems?”
