@Ubereats she's still one full hour behind the "latest possible arrival" time. Can you do anything for me, or did I just pay $40 for the coldest burgers in history
@Ubereats Fucking 40 minutes late, who's dick do I need to suck to get warm food?! I tried sending a nice message but my computer froze too. What the fuck?!
I'm pretty sure I've seen every movie and TV show that Alexandria Daddario has been in; I'm also 100% sure that I would never be able to recognize her voice.
@rwmcisaac I found it fun, campy, and light-hearted with some neat practical effects for all the magic. It's literally just "40's detective noir" + "magical witches" = this movie. I also find it pretty well shot; directed by the same guy who did Goldeneye a few years later & Casino Royale!
Cast A Deadly Spell (1991) - a hard-boiled detective story that takes place in a post-war L.A. that's full of witchcraft; campy and creative, with a stellar cast including Fred Ward, Julianne Moore, and Clancy Brown!
Some beautiful camera work as well.

I'm really glad that others agree that a24 has obnoxious fanboys. I thought I was the only one annoyed by the hipsters who fawn over everything they release. Don't get me wrong, they've made many fine movies; but there's some hypebeasts out here that are just a bit much for me
@HauntedDriveIn It's just ignorant kids missing the point of satirical comedy, as usual. Someday they'll look back on these days and cringe at how they behaved. But for now, they speak out.
I'm sure we all did it in some form or another when we were that young, dumb, and full of... passion?
The last day of 04/20!! Let's do it right people, with a b-movie that's a parody of b-movies starring Adrienne Barbeau, Shannon Tweed, and Karen M. Waldron in the "avocado jungle" of southern California; their guide is Bill Maher as a bumbling mansplainer!
