Massive tragedy in Lucknow 🚨

At least 13 people, mostly students, have lost their lives after a devastating fire at a coaching-cum-gaming institute in Aliganj. Several jumped from the first floor to escape the flames while others remained trapped inside.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered a probe, cancelled scheduled public events and returned to Lucknow. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak reached the spot and broke down while addressing the media. PM Modi has expressed deep condolences.

Rescue operations are still underway. Bodies are being retrieved by breaking through the back wall. DyCM is at the scene. Initial reports suggest a short circuit may have triggered the blaze.
