What does a BLACK HOLE actually sound like?
NASA turned this supermassive monster in galaxy M87 into pure audio. It’s real data. Turn the volume up.
Done? Now here is how you are able to hear this:
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
This is Earth, captured by the Artemis II crew as they traveled farther from home than any human in over 50 years. No borders. No countries. No conflicts. Just one tiny, fragile world floating in the infinite darkness of space. What this image make you feel? Drop a comment
For the first time in over 50 years, humans are Moonbound.
At 6:35 p.m. EDT (2235 UTC) NASA’s Space Launch System rocket and the Orion spacecraft lifted off from the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, sending four astronauts on a planned test flight around the Moon and back. https://t.co/0Q9ZB4IWVI
We're spending billions searching for alien life when the deep ocean on our OWN planet is 80% unexplored. Should we change our focus to the ocean or should we keep into space?
Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality.

Name ONE thing about space that keeps you up at night. I'll go first: the fact that the universe is expanding faster than light and we'll never reach most of it.
The Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft for the Artemis II mission arrived to the launch pad today at 11:21am ET (1521 UTC).
We are gearing up for preparations ahead of launch of the crewed lunar mission. The earliest possible launch opportunity is April 1. https://t.co/zSgvJMCzXL
The closest star to our Sun. Just 4.2 light-years away. Practically next door. And it's one of the most violent stellar neighbors imaginable. Proxima Centauri doesn't just sit there quietly. It erupts. Constantly. Full video up now: https://t.co/mX1try80l9
