I almost didn’t click because I thought surely this will be more normal than advertised. Nope. She actually wants the threat of lawsuit to stop college kids from going into the Admin. Third world insanity.
Congressman — we opened and publicly announced an investigation two days ago. As we do with all attacks on houses of worship in America. @CivilRights@TheJusticeDept
The shine on candy corn is bug resin. Brach's calls it confectioner's glaze.
The bag reads sugar, corn syrup, then 2% or less of salt, dextrose, confectioner's glaze (shellac), gelatin, honey, artificial flavors, sesame oil, Yellow 5, Yellow 6 and Red 40.
Shellac is what a lac insect leaves on tree branches in India and Thailand. It gets scraped off the bark, cleaned, dissolved in alcohol and tumbled over the candy, and it dries into the same hard coat that goes on a hardwood floor. That's the shine, and it's why the pieces don't glue themselves together in the bag. The gelatin is pork or beef collagen, there for the chew. The honey Brach's puts on the front of the bag is under 2%, behind the salt.
Bags on shelves this fall list Red 40. Last year's listed Red 3, which FDA pulled from food in January 2025 with a 2027 deadline. Brach's says it makes about 7 billion kernels a year.
Not only did the girls have to compete against the less than mediocre boy, the school district made one unlucky girl share overnight accommodations with him.
They were stripped of their consent. This is criminal.
WOMAN ALLEGEDLY STEALS TWO 12-FOOT SKELETONS — THEN TRIES TO HIDE THEM IN A BUSH
Police in Dearborn Heights say a woman stole two 12-foot Halloween skeletons valued at $600 from Home Depot, then tried to hide them in a bush.
Officers launched a drone, tracked her down, and arrested her after she briefly tried to run.
You can’t make this stuff up.
On this day in 1893, Lillian Gish was born in Springfield, OH. I asked her if actors in silent films had a script with dialogue to memorize or if they were just given a general idea of what was being said in the scene and they ad-libbed the words. This was her remarkable reply:
I would have rather had fighting parents than divorced parents. Their divorce was the worst thing that ever happened to us. It was devastating.
When my mother brought home a "step father" it was literally intolerable and I ran away at age 12. I could not live there any more.
The solution is to fix your marriage.

William A. Wheeler was America's 19th Vice President, and the man he served under had no idea who he was.
When Republicans nominated Wheeler as Rutherford B. Hayes's running mate in 1876, Hayes wrote to his wife and admitted he was ashamed to say his first reaction was, "Who is Wheeler?"
He was a quiet lawyer from Malone, New York. His father died when he was a boy, and he left the University of Vermont because he ran out of money and his eyesight was failing. He worked his way into banking, railroads, and eventually Congress.
What made him stand out was that he was honest in one of the most corrupt eras in American history. In 1873 Congress voted itself a big raise and made it retroactive, handing every member a pile of back pay. The public called it the Salary Grab. Wheeler refused to keep his. He found a way to return the money to the Treasury.
The election that made him Vice President was the most disputed in American history. Democrat Samuel Tilden won the popular vote, but the results in three Southern states were contested. A special commission handed every disputed vote to Hayes, and the deal that ended the standoff also pulled federal troops out of the South and ended Reconstruction. Critics called Hayes "His Fraudulency."
Wheeler's wife died before he took office. He had no children. In Washington, he and Hayes ended up close friends, and Wheeler was one of the regulars at the President's Sunday evening hymn sings in a White House where First Lady Lucy Hayes had banned alcohol.
After one term, Wheeler went home to Malone. He died there in 1887, and today he is one of the most forgotten Vice Presidents in American history.
His own running mate didn't know who he was, and history doesn't either.
Elon is one of the few people with the resources to fight back against the machine that’s spent years effectively suppressing speech. Scary to think where we would be as a nation without him.
Thank you, @elonmusk.
A new four-hour documentary on Elon Musk is so determined to expose the billionaire’s failings that it inadvertently showcases the achievements that made him the richest man in the world.

Lam’s Seafood Asian Market is getting called out by Nick Shirley.
This PR disaster goes away for Lam’s if owners can show receipts to back up their claims.
So far, nothing.
Things are getting a lil fishyyy 🐟🫣 Lam’s Seafood in Seattle Washington has been notorious for years for being a location where food stamp fraud is committed and now that I exposed exactly how the fraud works and documented it, Lam’s obviously rushed to cover.
Lam’s is more upset that I called luncheon meat “Spam” and an egg roll “sushi” than the fact that people are using their store to commit fraud.
They’ve now run to local news and are now labeling me “far right” for exposing this and say I’m going after the Asian community, meanwhile I exposed this fraud with an Asian 🤣 (@choeshow). Can’t make this up 💀😂
Oh yeah Lam’s also got part of $1,700,000 from Mayor Katie Wilson as well. I told you things are looking fishyyyy. END THE FRAUD.
