@Rtwenty1A@barstoolsports Very difficult player to place IMO. Hard for me to go top 5. Easily top 15. We all saw him and KD on the same team in their primes and for me, KD was clearly better but I think most ppl would have Curry over him all time.
@mcrandley@TheHoopHerald It’s all good Mark. I remember some ppl advocating for Melo but not Darko so much… like you said tho, I was 8 years old so I was more focused on the Power Rangers than the NBA draft!
@ScottKacsmar lol Scott… since this was the all white team, I specifically made a comparison to the all African American team… I appreciate all your research but this team is absolutely giving up 140 to Lebron, Kobe, MJ (or Curry), KD and Shaq/Hakeem.
@mcrandley@TheHoopHerald I actually really appreciate the sentiment, Mark! I was 14, grew up in Ohio and saw/followed LeBron as much as anyone. He would’ve been taken number 1 if he was eligible in 2002. Take your loss and move on.
I don’t necessarily disagree but if you take out Stockton and replace him with Nash, the African American squad is dropping 140 on this team every single night.
@CarolinaConect@mcrandley@TheHoopHerald Right? Hindsight is 20/20 but there was definitely a way better case for Melo at 1 over Darko. Pretty hard to have a more impressive freshman season than Melo’s…
Any “basketball expert” that didn’t play past high school can answer this. PLEASE 🙏🏾
How do you get into being an expert at something you weren’t good at.
I’m only asking because I’ve never been able to cross that boundary, I’ve only practiced my craft in that field
@L3TSGETFRANKY2@ChristianW2017 No way …
Dude, I’m not trying to be a hater, but this went completely over your head. He’s graded 86.7 on the PFF website which would make it objectively clear that he should be on this list.
Still time to delete before it blows up 😬
Besides being insanely soft, all Ohio State is doing here is pissing off its biggest business partner - FOX.
Im sure Portnoy is on a multi year contract.
They're just not gonna allow him any time Big Noon comes to Columbus (generally 2-3 times a year).
Pyscho behavior 🤦♂️🤦♂️
The Mike Evans discourse is always so funny to me because we’re not talking about a guy averages a couple hundred yards and less than double digit touchdowns. We’re talking about 6’5 225 LB wideout who has never missed 1,000 yards, over 100 touchdowns, has broken nearly every Buccaneers franchise record, can run every route, can beat you inside, outside, and 50/50 balls, and has done it with multiple lower level QBs.
Yet he gets disrespected because he’s quiet, doesn’t run a 4.40 and doesn’t complain about not getting the ball. One of the best to ever do it and his spot is set for Canton, OH.
@firstroundmock@vikingzfanpage Kinda of…. I also think he’s secretly telling us that we shouldn’t expect him to come in and have a year like Darnold. You almost can’t put together a group of weapons that’s more favorable for a young QB… I think some people have unrealistic expectations for JJ.
