Here's the Sinai Pantocrator/Shroud recreation with revised lighting and revised eyes. The Sinai Pantocrator is the image that most closely matches the face on the Shroud. This experiment uses the Pantocrator to suppliment visual data not present in the Shroud.

The goal is not necessarily to produce a portrait of Jesus. The goal is to further show the correspondence of the Pantocrator with the Shroud, thus giving additional evidence of dependence of the Pantocator's creator on the Shroud as an exemplar.

This image was also made with Midjouney. The difference is this: the image on the Shroud does not have enough data to create an image like this. There needs to be more information supplied. That can be through a text prompt that describes the image, or a second image can be uploaded as a reference, or both. The image I created used the Sinai Pantocrator icon because it is the image that most closely matches the Shroud and the monks at St. Catherine’s monastery where it is kept have said it was painted/written using the Shroud as the exemplar. It is the best image to use for the additional information. I do not know what information supplemented the image you attached. Although it is a very interesting image, the difference reveals the influence of the secondary image.

Here is the image @_jeremiahj mentioned during his interview with @TuckerCarlson . I created it in Midjourney by combining the image on the Shroud of Turin with the Sinai Pantocrator icon of St. Catherine's Monastery. The icon is dated around 550 and is the image most closely matching the face on the Shroud - almost exactly.
