@Brammflakes I watched the podcast with you and @phantasyftw and in regards to monetization since it still seems to be up in the air, have you considered player profiles? Like COD has player cards, emblems, some games have titles etc etc. BF has dog tags, they’re all customization options but they’re also vessels for monetization that don’t harm anyone.
You could lock titles or dog tags or what have you to challenges that can be achieved in game to add another whole layer of progression, that way players can showcase their achievements. But to bring it back to monetization, would that kind of system have the same pitfall as skins?
Skins are one thing but player profiles allow expressions of individuality more so than a skin imo
