@cm9798 I’m wondering if it’s psychological by Panini. If you can’t easily be reminded how many stickers there are in the book, you’re less likely to question the sanity of trying to collect them all.
@Cardinal27@FBAwayDays I was thinking the opposite. On the opening weekend the most sociable game times are Qatar v Switzerland and Germany v Curacao. Hardly gets the blood racing.
@bttsmatt@brucemillington I remember thinking the Euros would be rubbish in 2021 with so little jeopardy in the groups, but it ended up being engrossing from the start.
A fortnight ago I attended the York City victory parade, and continued my World Cup sticker collecting journey!

@maxsbetclub I'd be shocked if the averages didn't shoot up in terms of goals per game, as we saw at the Club World Cup last summer. If you are convinced that there will be the same average goals per game you will be able to get some very good odds about that happening.
In part two of my series collecting Panini World Cup stickers, we manage to unearth some star names! #Panini#WorldCup2026

I've decided to collect the Panini FIFA World Cup stickers for the first time since drunkenly buying packs at university for France '98. #Panini#WorldCup

@SC92kfr@CllrNormanWork@Every1IsaGenius@Nomadicscotsman I'd still argue that it's impossible to tell from that image. From the only angle the ref appears to have made his decision from, it's impossible to say whether it hit his hand or not. Plus the reason his arm is in that position is the Celtic player knocking his arm that way!
