@cxskunj@DanTalkSports Oh no wait round of 16, not round of 32. That dramatically changes things as if two of these teams get paired the bet looses and probably one of them randomly loses.
@cxskunj@DanTalkSports That's insanely stupid odds from the bookmaker as that is reasonably likely. I mean, even if you look at euro 2024 for comparison pretty much all the top teams made it through, with the possible exception of Croatia who were in a group with Spain and Italy.
@CasualSpurs@_kjs1874 Not everything that makes your club better at football is preferable. Football is about community, its about society, its tied to a place and an identity. When its a few people supporting your team abroad its cute common ground, but when its 100 million... its totally distorting
@mactellomckeown@RichardBrady16 Please provide photographic evidence of every sign to have ever existed in the UK to prove your point. Otherwise stop yammering about things you don't know about.
@stanfordwhites@McLaughlin_1888 He played more than 100 games for Arsenal, some as recently as May 2025. If you dont know who he is you are not an Arsenal fan.
@ClySuva@AdrianPocea@Demon_Realms I don't think you could even come to this conclusion as a tourist. I have been to both cities and they seemed very different. Estonians and Portugese people in general also have dramatically different vibes.
@MoldyDolphin@IsaacTheBound By this metric, every nation is an oppressor. Because all nations have in history oppressed their own citizens. To suggest Scots were never oppressed by the English is as daft as saying that Scots never took part in British imperialism.
@lamont1940@nathangreennn Problem is that most of the "smaller nations better clubs" will be in the champions league or the europa on a good season where they could win it. Like Rangers have generally gone further than Celtic in europa recently cause any good Celtic side will be in the champions league.
@beethe_bee@snowkabear@birdwarde Any way you cut it, reducing meat consumption is a far more effective way of reducing water consumption. But people will push the AI one and make it sound like a moral emergency, ignoring the real emergency of never ending animal abuse because it suits their priors.
@robertgraham@JarvisAeneas No, it doesn't matter if you show a chart of temperatures, most right wingers will still bury their heads. They are snowflakes who only believe something is real if its convenient for them. See covid, election results, etc.
@miowaki@paraayanaananda@MarioNawfal How about you do that, except you remember that animals have their own lives too? Would you like to be put in a gas chamber? Would you like to be castrated without anesthetic? Basic decency calls on us to treat others as we wpuld wish to be treated. Think about it.
@Spacegoblin1001@paraayanaananda@MarioNawfal They dont have feelings and emotions, they dont feel pain. If you were a plant, you wouldn't care about anything. If you were a pig, you would scream as human devils shove you into a gas chamber after they tortured you in life.
@nick_cheese@paraayanaananda@MarioNawfal@grok Is it ok for parents to abuse the children they made? Or to genetically engineer their kids to be fatter so they can eat them? Basic morality is the golden ptincipal, treat others as you would wish to be treated. Animals qualify as others.
@JacobR1874@TheQuietKid18@AnnounceMoult In the 4th last game of the season a goal against Celtic was given where the player laughed at it, because he clearly handballed it. In the second last game of the season Celtic were denied a stonewall penalty. If there was some cheating conspiracy, why would that happen?
@krakensmor7@Petagna This is so desperate. If a team's record win was 9 nil and they won 10 nil it would be unprecedented even if 9 is near 10. You would also say the team is improving if they win more games and score more goals than before, even if they don't win every game.
